Lancer, one of the longest-established names in long-load handling, is bringing new energy to meeting the needs of the market place.

Lancer Sideloaders has a 50-year pedigree serving many customer throughout Europe, but the business isn't resting on its laurels. To its regularly refreshed product range, it's now adding a new UK HQ, a completely new parts-direct operation, and a rapidly-growing sales and service network.

But, as any owner knows, there's more to buying a truck than just the truck. Service and support can make or break a customer's relationship with their truck and its supplier.
Storage and materials handling customers, in any industry, show a clear preference for buying from local suppliers. The Lancer network of business partners continues to grow throughout the UK. We work very closely with our sales and service network partners. Our customers get the benefits of local contact, with the advantages of dealing direct.

Truck productivity can be dependent on fast parts availability. Lancer has its own 2,000 sq m parts warehouse in Leighton Buzzard. With our own in-house operation, we have faster communications, better control, and we can apply a much higher level of product knowledge and expertise. Lancer have over 2,500 lines of OE sideloader parts in stock in the warehouse with a fully manned pick pack, technical support and parts sales support team.

Forklift Trucks for rent, and factory-standard refurbished trucks, too

Sideloaders operated on a short-term rental basis can easily pay their way, at times of peak workload, or during business expansion. Lancer is building its fleet of rental trucks, as well as its OE standard refurbishment business. The new Leighton Buzzard facility includes workshops for keeping rental trucks in ready-to-go condition, and for refurbishing customer trucks to original specifications and standards.

Lancer are in the process of installing completely new IT systems, to manage sales, service and parts operations. "We have a huge customer base in the UK, especially in the timber industry.
