The 500 Series truck is one of the timber industry's most
popular trucks, a rugged 5-tonne capacity workhorse with torque
convertor transmission.
The LQ range comprises three trucks with hydrostatic transmission
and a choice of diesel or LPG motive power. The latest models
have a newly-designed cab, with outstanding all-round visibility,
easy access, and vibration-free comfort. LQ trucks can be specified
with a wide choice of deck width and height and fork width.

Both the 500 Series and the LQ range are perfect examples
of trucks that have been designed from scratch, using a combination
of innovation and unrivalled understanding of the special nature
of long load handling. For example, unladen stability is just
as important as laden stability. Every Lancer sideloader is designed
with a long wheelbase and a low centre of gravity to provide
generous safety margins. Lancer mast traverse mechanisms
often a frequent failure item on sideloaders are designed
for reliable smooth operation. Masts are as wide as possible,
to minimise swaying at height. Brake system are designed for
fast but progressive deceleration, helping to ensure safe emergency
stops without load-shedding.
Lancer multilift 4 way forklift
It is no secret that an ergonomically adjusted working space,
results in more productivity. The Multilift-cabin invites you
to a trial. Optimal view, easy and secure entry to the cabin
and enough space create a very functional working environment.
The lift masts are tailor made and are fitted towards your
specific requirements. No matter if Duplex-, Duplex-Freelift-
or Triplex masts, all constructions are tested for maximum security
and stability. The lifting of long loads require a flexible adjustable
range. With the use of an enlarged carriage with integrated hydraulic
forkpositioner, you easily will able to lift loads with different
dimensions.
The driver determines the comfort. The drivers' needs are
met by an adjustable seat in sitting position, height and tilt,
added with seat belt and arm rest, combined with the tiltable
and adjustable steering column. The controls of the working hydraulics
are steered by a sensitive Joystick. Even at highest lifting
heights you are able to manoeuvre your loads with ease and precision.
The cabin displays are well structured and informs the driver
about the working situations. All switches are very well placed
and easily reachable.
The machine is prepared for all sorts of weather influences
equipped with a strong and fine adjustable heater and tilt
able wind screens. It is even possible to unhinge the door for
hot summer months.
All in sight good visibility at day and night. Working
lights on the cabin roof, interior illumination and grand windscreens
offer a permanently good visibility for the driver.
Service hatches are easily access able and give you space
to work on the engine and control unit. These access points are
very reliable, even up to a daily use.
The working environment of a typical timber or steel yard
isn't kind to handling equipment. Trucks are worked hard, with
heavy loads, on surfaces that are often unpaved and puddled,
and they may even spend all their off-shift time out of doors,
too.
But Lancer sideloaders are recognised for their operational
reliability and solid dependability. They embody decades of design,
engineering and application expertise that make them more than
a match for such a hard working life.
